My first Violet Waters doll from the Gene doll line swings into my collection this year. This is Swingtime Serenade by Ashton Drake. She is a beautiful doll and one that I don't feel the need to redress. It's nice being able to find good bargains on eBay.

Now that is a doll that I would splurge for. She is simply stunning. She puts me in the mind of Lena Horne. I love, love, love the outfit, corsage and the hair-do. She truly has such a swingtime vintage style. Beautiful!
